Hammerheads,

We're focused getting our swimmers ready for City Meet 2025 and excited to see them reach personal best times.  Key focus for our swimmers is to rest and hydrate, starting tonight.  The heat Sheet with their events is attached. 

New Practice Opportunity-tomorrow night for swimmers to get one-on-one coaching specific to their events at City Meet.  This will be at our pool from 4-6:00.

At this same time we will also have car decorating.  A City Meet tradition is to decorate your cars with team name/logo, swimmer name, inspirational quotes, "eat my bubbles", etc.  

Special thank you to our Volunteers, as we literally can not attend this special event without each and everyone of you.  We can always use a few more helpers in the Bullpen each day, especially in the AM.  If you're going to be there with your swimmer, feel free to jump in an assist those assigned.

• Attached is the MCST heat sheet: If you want a master heat sheet you can purchase a hard copy at the meet which is around $25. You may also purchase one on Meet Mobile.  Meet Mobile is an app linked to most every meet your swimmer will participate in and the results from City Meet will post there. 
• Don't Leave Yet:  Please be sure you have checked where your swimmer placed before leaving. The top 16 swimmers plus two alternates move on to the finals at the end of the meet.  This is our opportunity to earn team points and we've had swimmers not attend finals in the past due to lack of knowing these details.
• TECH SUITS, TIE BACKS, TAPE, & CAPS: The use of any type of Tech Suit is not allowed in RCSL competition. Anyone in violation of this rule will be disqualified from the competition. Tie back suits are also prohibited. Hammerhead Swim Caps Only logo. No swim caps with other logos (school, club, etc.) will be allowed and swimmers will be disqualified from competition. The use of KT tape, braces, casts, etc. is also prohibited.
• Live Streaming: We have live streaming again for this year. To locate the livestream visit swimhsa.org
• Parking: The parking beyond the back Legacy lot is NOT city property. There are businesses and churches that are open and operating this weekend, and we have to respect their need for parking spaces. DO NOT move cones or park in marked/reserved spots - they will tow your car.

Last thing before you finish reading this novel: Please remember this league is for fun summer recreation and to be courteous to everyone participating. Please be kind and sportsmanlike during this meet. This is going to be a very close and competitive meet, which is what we want. Competition brings out the best in our kids, but we all have to set good examples as volunteers, coaches, parents, etc.
