Mt. Carmel Hammerheads

Welcome to the home of the Mt. Carmel Hammerheads Swim Team! The team practices and competes during the summer and we completed our 13th season of Hammerhead swimming in 2020.  MCST is made up of wonderful families in the Mt. Carmel by the River neighborhood and the surrounding communities.  MCST offers a convenient opportunity to experience the fun, fitness and excitement of competitive age-group swimming close to home!  Boys and girls ages 5-17 years old who can swim one length of the pool without assistance are eligible to join the team. 

MCST is part of the Rocket City Swim League (RCSL) located in Huntsville, Alabama. Each swim season starts up in May and consists of 5 regular season meets (typically on Wednesday nights in June) and a league-wide City Meet concluding the season in July.

For the 2021 swim season, practice will begin in the evenings starting May 17th. Beginning June 1st, practices will be held on Monday evening, as well as Tuesday/Friday/Saturday mornings.
