The season is here! Monday begins our season with our first practice, and we want to help you be prepared. This email contains a lot of information, please review the entire email and feel free to reach out with any questions.

• Sign Up/Out Required: Please be sure to sign up, our out, of each meet and for your volunteer positions at the “Meet & Events” tab on the website: https://www.mtcarmelhammerheads.com/swim_meets
• Volunteers: We rely on you to run our meets, and ensure each swimmer has a great experience. Parents are required to sign up for a minimum of 2 volunteer positions. Gillian Scott our Board Secretary has “volunteered” to be our Volunteer Coordinator and can be reached at [email protected]. Please know several families volunteer every meet and we are very conscious to ensure you always have the ability to watch your swimmer regardless of volunteer position.

Swimsuits Information: The suit is still the same as usual, the TYR Hexa Black/Red. Girls have the option (while supplies last) the maxfit (thick strap), diamondfit (thin strap) and trinityfit (thinstrap and three straps across the back). Boys will have the option of a jammer or a racer. Racers will have to be ordered, jammers will not. The suit will be 25% off MSRP and there will also be a selection of goggles, practice suits and backpacks/bags. If you are unable to make the team fitting date you are also welcome to go into the store to get fitted instead.

We are so excited to welcome you all to the 2025 summer season and the Mt. Carmel Hammerheads. Whether your swimmer is diving into summer league for the first time or has been a part of this program for many years, we are so glad to have you all with us! As coaches, we plan to teach and refine swimming skills while instilling a love for the sport. We know this will be a summer to remember, so let’s swim hard, smile often, and support each other every splash of the way!
