Hi!

We would like to thank all of you for a fantastic first week of practice! The swimmers did a great job listening and learning about our pool procedures, and the parents did an amazing job declaring their swimmers for the meet on Saturday, as well as signing up to volunteer! All jobs are filled, and all swimmers have been declared!

Today is the last day to order a Team T-Shirt!

• Time Trials are TOMORROW, Saturday, May 22^nd. Swimmer sign-ups are now closed. Warm ups will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the meet will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Coach Whitney will email the heat sheet tonight.

• IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING TIME TRIALS:
• Warm ups start at 8:00 a.m. and the meet will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. 5-6 year old swimmers will not have a warm-up, but please have your swimmer settled and ready at 8:00.
• For parents new to the sport - please see this link about marking your swimmer for meets using the heat sheet.
• Regarding volunteer jobs, please see this list of job descriptions for more information.
• Parents will not be allowed on deck. There will be plenty of space to see your swimmer through the gated areas.
• Please set up your chairs in the grassy areas outside of the gated pool area adjacent to the pool. It is a good idea to also bring blankets, snacks, and toys to keep your swimmer entertained when he/she is not swimming.
• Prior to the start of each race, the event & heat will be announced.
• We will be using the same entrance and exit gates as used during practice.
• Please keep your swimmer off the tennis courts, as these are for home owner use only.
• Please do not park on the grass (even just part of your tire) - we are allowed to park on Mt. Carmel Road, the side closest to the pool but at no time are we allowed to park vehicles on the grass. There will be at least one volunteer helping to direct traffic, but if you are unable to park in the parking lot, please plan to park on Mt. Carmel Road, on the side closest to the pool, with your vehicle facing West as if you were leaving the neighborhood.

There will be several experienced parents at the meet, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, need help with the heat sheet, or just want to know the best place to set up your chairs in the morning sun! See you on deck tomorrow!
