Good evening parents. It was unfortunate the meet had to be postponed tonight, but we all look forward to an exciting meet tomorrow. A few housekeeping items before we get to the Shark-A-Thon info. 

Please be sure to pick up around our team area at meets. It is important we respect the host team and their volunteers. There was a good amount of trash left under the pavilion tonight and I believe that reflects poorly our wonderful group of parents and swimmers. So please be sure to leave the area (home and away) better than you found it. 

Now for some Shark-A-Thon details. We use this fundraiser to purchase swimmer gifts, pay for coaches, purchase equipment etc. We currently have 35 (23 under 7 years old) out of 116 swimmers signed up fro this fundraiser. I would love to see that number double by end of day tomorrow. It is an opportunity to have some fun, test the swimmers endurance, and raise some money for the team. Each swimmer raising over $50 will get a limited edition tshirt and each swimmer participating will get some fun little party gift. Please consider participating and if you are not available to participate, please considering getting a few donations to contribute to the cause. 

I will look at the numbers again tomorrow to see if we need to keep all 4 sessions or if we need to consolidate due to low turnout. I will send an update on Friday morning if times need to be changed.
